At S&S Pick-Up, we’re driven by a simple mission: to provide our small community with a family-owned waste management service that truly cares. Launched in October 2024, we recognized the need for a reliable, local option after our previous waste management company was taken over by a corporation that prioritized profits over people. With a commitment to our neighbors and friends, we’ve dedicated ourselves to serving this community we’ve called home for years.
As a proud female-owned business, we celebrate our unique identity with a vibrant, hot pink trash truck that’s hard to miss on the streets. Our customer service feels like family because it is—our team understands the importance of community and strives to create a friendly, approachable experience for every customer.
We offer a variety of waste management solutions tailored to both residential and commercial needs, including in-town and rural services. Our goal is to become a staple in the community, engaging in local events, and building lasting relationships with our clients.
While starting this venture came with its challenges, we were met with overwhelming positivity that fueled our passion for making a difference. Collaborating with fellow female business owners has been instrumental in our journey, and we’re excited to continue this momentum. Our aspiration is to positively impact our community, aiming to have 50% of local households using our services by the end of 2027.
